For this release, artist Nini Sum has captured the feeling of coming home to celebrate the New Year; a time you can leave behind the bustling rythm of life and replace it with a sense of calm, hope and warmth.

The New Year is celebrated by millions of people across the world in different cultures. The fondest memories Nini has of the New Year are the loud, bright fireworks against the night skye and the lanterns her neighbours used as a welcome sign that brought her street to life.

Nini remembers the steam of hot food bringing everything slightly out of focus as the familiar chatter of old conversations filled the room. The talking only stopped when the fireworks became to loud. Then everybody rushed outside, holding hands and smiling once again.
